Bold fish balls

500 gr of fish fillets (cod or any fish you like the most)
1 red pepper
1 cup parsley
1 slice of toast bread
1 egg
1 teaspoon Turmeric
1 teaspoon Cumin
1 - 2 teaspoons salt
4 teaspoons of oil for frying
4 teaspoon butter
Lots of black pepper
1/2 kg small potatoes
1 box cherry tomatoes
Bunch of coriander

Boil the potatoes until they are tender (15 – 20 min, depending on size)
Mince the fish in a food processor then place it in a bowl.
Mince the pepper and the parsley in a food processor
Mix the pepper and the parsley together with the fish and mince the
toasted bread into it as well.
Put the egg and the spices to the mixture and mix well with your hands.
Melt the butter in oil on a pan on a medium heat.
Form small balls out of the mixture and fry them on a pan for 5 min each side.

Party snack:
When the balls and the potato are cooked, cool them down to room
temperature. When they are cold enough, cut the potatoes in half
and put them on a toothpick, take a fish ball and place them
on top. Finally, cut a cherry tomato on half and put it on top.
The final touch is to sprinkle chopped coriander all over the plate.
This can be served either straight away or cold.

Dinner version:
When the balls are fried, take the ready boiled potatoes out of the
water and place them with the tomatoes on a pan. If the potatoes are

new you don’t really have to clean them. Let that simmer on a pan for
few minutes until the tomatoes are hot and juicy.   Finally, sprinkle
chopped coriander all over the pan just before you serve
the food.
