Chili Con Carne

*English version below*

Chili Con Carne

This is super easy, nice and tasty dish that everyone loves. Need I say more :)

500 gr. ground beef
2 onions
2 cloves of garlic
1-2 carrots
2 red peppers
1 tsp. chilli powder
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. sugar or honey
2-3 tsp. or 1 cube beef bouillon
500 ml. water
400 gr. canned red kidney (rinse them well with cold water)
400 gr. tomatoes in a can
bunch of fresh coriander

Chop the onion and garlic, cut peppers into small pieces and grate the carrot with the grinder. Heat 1-2 tbsp. of oil in a good pot to a medium heat. Fry the vegetables for 5 minutes, add the spices together
and cook for 2 more minutes. Add the meat to the pot and cook for 5 minutes or until the meat is starting to get brown. Add the tomatoes, water, beef bouillon, beans and sugar or honey to the pot. Bring up to boil and then lower the heat to low. Take the stalk from the coriander and chop them finely, but keep the leaves for serving. Salt and pepper after taste. Simmer gently for 1 hour.

Serve the Chili with rice, sour cream and guacamole. I like to put the chili powder on the table, its nice to sprinkle a bit more on top to make the dish a bit hotter. I use one tsp. of chili in my recipe since my 5 year old kid is not very fond of spicy food, so if you are serving this for adults you can add one more tsp. to the recipe.
